IMMIGRATION ARREST SUSPECTED HUMAN TRAFFICKER



A suspected human trafficker has been arrested by the operatives of Nigeria Immigration Service in Kongolam Border, Kastina State.

The suspect was arrested while trafficking five females victims to Europe enroute Niger Republic.

The head Public relations of the Nigeria Immigration Service,
Babandede reiterated that the days of crossing national frontiers without proper documentation and melting into border communities was over, as the Special Border Corps and regular border control officers were on their toes 24/7.

He said that the SBC and regular border control officers were patrolling with the aim of enforcing adequate border security and control, while human mobility was regulated in line with the Federal Government's directive.
